Jiangsu textile industry's export delivery value accounts for one-fifth of the country's

Statistics show that in 2013, the main business income of the textile industry in Jiangsu Province was 1,329.76 billion yuan, accounting for 20% of the national total, ranking first. The export delivery value of the whole industry was 197.01 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year, accounting for one-fifth of the national total, and an increase of 5.5 percentage points from the previous year. The growth of export delivery value was higher than the province's industry and the national textile industry by 8.3%. and 1.6 percentage points.

In recent years, the Jiangsu provincial government and industry associations have continuously promoted the healthy and sustainable development of the industry, guided and encouraged enterprises to pay attention to both domestic and foreign markets, adjusted industrial structure and product structure, and strengthened brand building for domestic and foreign sales. The results have gradually emerged. Since 1999, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government has hosted the Jiangsu International Fashion Festival and Expo. It has promoted the upgrading of the industry and incubated its own brands by holding industry exhibitions, professional forums, fashion trends releases and other activities. Every year, the Jiangsu International Clothing Festival has become an export enterprise to test the water in the domestic market and start the road of brand building.

It is reported that the 16th Jiangsu International Fashion Festival and Expo will be held in Nanjing International Expo Center from September 12 to 14, 2014. There will be more than 1,000 outstanding brands from dozens of countries and regions participating in the exhibition.
